I turn raw events into published intelligence

Production LLM pipelines, SQL analytics, and the dashboards decisions actually get made with.

01Machines

I started with metal, not data. I trained as a mechanical engineer at UC Riverside and co-founded Saru, a solar-powered smart recycling unit I designed from CAD to a deployed prototype: a first-place pitch, $10K+ in prototype funding, then Techstars and LaunchPad.

Somewhere between the BOMs and the build reports, I noticed the part I loved wasn't the hardware. It was knowing whether the thing was working.

02Data

At the Naval Surface Warfare Center, I learned what data is for: decisions. I owned the production and acquisition metrics Navy leadership used to evaluate shipbuilders, built the Tableau dashboards behind them, and automated the reporting until 95% of the manual work was gone. I also built a parser that turned unstructured CPARS contractor-performance PDFs into an operational dashboard acquisition leadership used weekly.

I delivered the Program Management Review dashboards leadership uses to assess shipbuilding program status, managing mid-cycle scope changes across three concurrent deliverables.

03Intelligence

At Messari I'm the senior analyst for Monitoring, the flagship real-time event intelligence product, serving enterprise clients like Coinbase, Anchorage Digital, and major institutional asset managers. I build the AI automation and SQL analytics powering its qualitative data layer and Messari's API.

The work is live coverage across 500+ crypto assets: onchain exploits, smart-contract vulnerabilities, protocol emergencies, and governance outcomes, validated and published as structured institutional alerts in near real time.

Then I started replacing my own job with software. I built a production agentic AI pipeline (Claude + MCP) that classifies live events and drafts our published alerts, and the SQL analytics and QA that keep coverage honest.

  • ~500alerts drafted per week
  • 90%published with no edits
  • 5595%event-grouping accuracy

In June 2026, Blockworks acquired Messari, a deal built around Monitoring.
